What are the storage conditions for Asthmanefrin?
Asthmanefrin can be stored at 2°C to 25°C (36°F to 77°F). If product is shipped or stored in temperature conditions higher than these storage conditions for short periods of time, there should not be any impact on the overall stability of the product. How long is the product good for when removed from the foil pouch?
When removed from the pouch, an unopened vial is in good condition for a maximum of seven (7) days. If the product is kept in the pouch, even if the pouch has been opened, it will last until the expiration date.
Are the plastic vials recyclable?
Yes, they can be disposed of in your average recycle bin.
Can I use other solution medications in the EZ Breathe Atomizer?
The EZ Breather Atomizer has been provided for use with Asthmanefrin™. Please consult your physician regarding use of the EZ Breathe Atomizer with other prescribed medications.
My EZ Breathe Atomizer makes a squealing sound when I complete a treatment, is this a problem?
No, Your EZ Breathe Atomizer operates electronically and when all the medication is out of the medication chamber, the EZ Breathe Atomizer makes a squealing sound when there is no more medication to atomize. If you hear this sound, be sure to turn off the unit.

How do I use my EZ Breathe Atomizer?
Can I leave my medication in the medication cup?
You can leave your medication in the medication cup for fast treatments, but you should empty your medication cup and clean the unit according to the cleaning instructions. Cleaning the medication cup every day will keep the EZ Breathe Atomizer operating properly at all times.
I press the on button but the unit does not operate.
- Check to see that you have batteries in the unit.
- Next, check that the batteries are inserted properly. If orange battery light comes on you need to replace batteries. The flashing orange light indicates that there are fewer than 10 minutes left.
- Check to be sure that medication cup is locked into place. Push medication cup on to main unit until you hear a “click”.
- Medication cup needs to be cleaned. Empty medication cup and clean with vinegar and water solution.
- Mesh may need to be cleaned. To clean mesh, fill medication cup with 1/4 white vinegar and 3/4 distilled water, press START/STOP button, and operate the unit for 30 seconds.
- Check to see that electrodes on control unit and medication are cleaned before connecting, use rubbing alcohol to clean electrodes.
- Check mesh to see that it is not damaged. Look into the mouthpiece on the medication cup and see if mesh is damaged (mesh will have a rip or tear in it). Replace medication cup if mesh is damaged.
NOTE: Never attempt to touch mesh with any object to clean. This will damage the mesh and void warranty. Only clean the mesh by operating unit with vinegar and water solution.
Do I have to operate the unit continuously to take my treatment?
No, you can operate the unit either continuously or you can take it breath by breath. You can press the “start/stop” button to take a breath and then turn the unit off.
The unit shut off when I was taking my treatment.
Check the fluid level in the medication cup. The EZ Breathe will shut-off when the fluid level is less than 0.1ml.
Unit does not seem to be making enough mist.
Clean the medication cup. Check to be sure that medication cup is connected properly to the main unit. Push medication cup onto main unit until you hear a “click”.
The EZ Breathe Atomizer medication cup and mes (mesh is a part of the medication cup) need to be cleaned every 24 hours, according to the instruction manual.
Soak medication cup in 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts distilled water solution (1/4 of the cleaning solution should be white vinegar and 3/4 of the cleaning solution should be distilled water) for 3 minutes. Citric acid (lemon or lime juice) can be used in place of white vinegar. Use 1 part citric acid to three parts distilled water and follow cleaning instructions. Operate unit with 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts distilled water solution for 30 seconds to clean the mesh. Rinse the medication cup with distilled water and air dry.
Failure to clean medication cup and mesh according to instructions will damage mesh and void the manufacturers warranty.
Do not place any foreign objects into the EZ Breathe Atomizer, specifically into the mesh.
NOTE: Do not use any other cleaning solution. A solution of 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts distilled water is only recommended for cleaning.
